Your email, your choice
The Féile na Gaeilge committee in Ballydehob, Co. Cork, is responsible for the festival updates mailing list. This notice explains our website analytics and how we use email addresses submitted through our signup form. You can contact us at info@fnag.ie.
Last updated: 11 October 2026.
Website analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand visitor numbers and which pages are useful. It collects anonymous, aggregated statistics such as page views, referring websites, countries, and device and browser types without using cookies. We remove query strings and URL fragments from recorded page addresses so signup confirmation tokens are excluded. Read Vercel’s analytics privacy information.
What we collect and why
We collect your email address to send occasional news about Féile na Gaeilge, future events, and next year’s festival. We use your consent for this. After you submit a form, we email you a confirmation link. We add your address to the mailing list only when you confirm. Providing your address is optional, but we cannot send you updates without it. We do not use the list for unrelated marketing.
Our email provider
Resend sends our emails and stores the mailing list and related email data in the United States. Transfers from the European Economic Area are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in Resend’s Data Processing Addendum. Resend also participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Read its GDPR information and privacy policy.
How long we keep your address
We keep your address on the mailing list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Every festival update will include an unsubscribe link. If you unsubscribe, we stop sending updates and may retain the minimum information needed to honour that choice.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your information, to restrict how it is used, or to receive a portable copy. You can object to direct marketing and withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link or emailing info@fnag.ie. Withdrawing consent does not affect our use of your address before you withdrew it. If you have concerns about how we handle your information, you can raise them with the Data Protection Commission.
